About the Journal

Smart Technologies and Computational Research publishes original research on the design, analysis and application of intelligent, connected and computational systems. The journal welcomes theoretical, experimental and applied contributions that advance how computing systems are engineered, deployed and trusted, from embedded devices and networks to large-scale infrastructure. Every manuscript is assessed through double-blind peer review and published open access.

Mission

Smart Technologies and Computational Research seeks to advance knowledge in its field by publishing work of lasting scholarly value. The journal is committed to transparent and consistent editorial standards, to fair and constructive peer review, and to making the research it publishes freely and permanently available to readers worldwide under the CC BY 4.0 licence.

Editorial governance

Editorial responsibility rests with the Editor-in-Chief, supported by the journal’s editors, editorial assistants and an international editorial board. Every manuscript is assessed by an editor and, if suitable, evaluated in double-blind peer review by at least 2 independent reviewers before any decision on publication. All members of the board are listed publicly with their current appointments and areas of expertise.

Indexing and metadata

Article metadata is prepared in accordance with Crossref and JATS conventions, exposed to Google Scholar through standard bibliographic tags, and made available through the publisher’s OAI-PMH 2.0 interface for harvesting by indexing services and repositories. Citations may be exported in APA, MLA, Chicago, Harvard, Vancouver, IEEE styles, and in BibTeX and RIS formats.
